What is your shipping policy?

When your order ships you will receive an update email with tracking information.  We are proud to offer carbon neutral shipping on all orders. 

If an item is in stock, and not on pre-order, orders will ship within 5-7 business days of initial purchase.  For apparel and homegoods, please allow up to 12 business days, as each garment is made to order to combat fashion waste and pollution. If we ever take a shipping break for a holiday, it will be clearly stated on the homepage.

Once your order has shipped, it becomes the responsibility of the carrier.  If your item is delayed or hung up in a sorting center after we have shipped it, please contact the carrier directly with your tracking information provided in your shipping email.

What if I need to return an item?

Customer satisfaction is incredibly important to us. Should you wish to return an item, please reach out at hello@natalie-mcmillan.com with any inquiries of return within 10 days of the item being delivered. For unused, unopened merchandise, we offer store credit for the purchase price of the item.  

We will send you a pre-paid shipping label for you to return your item with, however, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, and will be deducted from your refund. Any item not in its original condition, is customized, discounted, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error are not eligible for return.

What if my product is defective?

All Natalie McMillan necklaces are made with fine chains, so please take their delicacy into consideration before wearing. If a Natalie McMillan piece is not functioning properly or arrived broken, please email hello@shopnataliemcmillan.com with a photo or video of the issue within 10 days of arrival, and we will resolve the issue!

How do I take care of my jewelry?

Sterling Silver (925) is a hard-wearing metal made up of 92.5% Silver and 7.5% copper. The reason for the added copper alloy is because pure silver (99.9%) is a fairly soft metal, making it less durable for wear. Due to the copper element, Sterling tends to oxidize and tarnish if it goes unworn. The best way to keep your silver beauties sparkling is to wear them! The oils from your skin actually prevent the pieces from oxidizing. Additionally, you can use a polishing cloth to shine up your Sterling silver beauties!

14k Double Gold Plated Brass is exactly what it sounds like!  We take a gorgeous alloy of yellow brass that is already close in color to 14k Gold, and plate it not once, but TWICE for durability and quality!  Plated brass is a great option for someone who loves the look of gold, but doesn't want to pay for the solid gold price tag.  However, unlike solid 14k Gold, gold plated pieces should not be worn extensively in water.  We recommend keeping your jewelry away from any liquid or lotion as a rule of thumb!

What if my jewelry isn’t the right size?

While I’m not able to exchange items directly, you can return your item for store credit to purchase a more suitable size. Please email hello@shopnataliemcmillan.com with any return inquiries.

How do I know my size?

Bangle Sizing:

STEP 1: Close your fingers together, bringing your thumb and little finger together (as if you were putting on a bangle).

STEP 2: Using a strip of paper, string, or tape measure, measure around the closed hand at the widest point, pulling the tape snug against the skin. If you are using a plain strip of paper, mark the paper with a pen, then measure the strip with a ruler. This is the circumference of your hand.

STEP 3: Find the hand circumference on the table below. Choose a bangle size with a diameter at least 1/4" larger than the diameter shown below. If unsure or in-between sizes, we recommend sizing up. 

If hand circumference is around 7-8” order petite
If hand circumference is around 8.5" - 9.5" order regular

Ring Sizing: 

I recommend using a ring sizer to determine your correct ring size. Because each ring is handmade to order, we don't accept returns or exchanges, so it is best to be sure of your size! If you would like a ring sizer sent to you free of charge, please email us at hello@shopnataliemcmillan.com
