Natalie McMillan is an independent jewelry line and lifestyle brand designed and crafted in Los Angeles, California. Since the summer of 2016, Natalie McMillan has been creating jewelry pieces for women to wear, love, and feel completely comfortable and themselves in. Each piece is completely handcrafted from start to finish. Within the line, you will not find perfect symmetry, laser cuts, or exact shapes and edges. What you will find is authenticity, simplicity, beauty in imperfection, and a piece of jewelry that feels like it belongs to you and you alone. Natalie is dedicated to creating pieces that transcend all personal styles and tastes, offering quality jewelry for truly everyone. She expanded her line to fragrances, art, and apparel in 2019 and the brand has evolved into a go-to lifestyle brand for individuals looking for high quality, beautifully crafted, slightly off beat goods.

Jewelry has always been a huge part of my life. When I was young, I went to a school (well, it was more of a cult, but that's a story for another day), where I wasn’t allowed to wear jewelry. Every summer for five years I would get my ears pierced just so I could have a little sparkle for a few months before school started again and I’d have to take them out. I tried everything to get around the no jewelry rule, trust me. And now, working in this business, I still find myself trying to get around rules. “Don't mix metals,” “don’t wear too much jewelry, it’s distracting,” “less is more,” or my personal favorite “it isn’t classy to have more than one earring in each ear.” I say take the rules and tell them to go fuck themselves. I truly believe that when it comes to jewelry, you should wear it however you like. Break the rules and do what makes you feel like the most authentic version of YOU! My jewelry is here to help you do just that.

How do I write a bio about myself that isn’t boring? I get bored pretty quickly actually; I blame it on being a Sagittarius. Well I guess I’ll start by saying that I’ve always been very artistically inclined. From a very young age, art seemed to be my strong suit, much to the dismay of every single math teacher I ever had. I’ve experimented in all types of mediums, from traditional oil painting and graphite portraiture, to ill-advised tattoos with prison grade machines. I love all types of art and you can often find me drawing or painting in my free time! You can also find me traveling because I don’t like to stay put for too long and I am ALWAYS up for an adventure (again, textbook Sagittarius). When I’m not out of town or working (and, let's get real, I’m working 90% of the time), I’m running around LA, probably drinking a margarita at El Coyote, stuck in traffic on Santa Monica Blvd, staring at the Rothko’s at the MOCA, seeing a show at The Groundlings, or lost in the Century City Mall parking structure. While LA is my home, I was born and raised in the Bay Area, so yes, I’m partial to Bay Area rap and on the rare occasion drop a casual “hella” into conversation. Although I am a true introvert (sitting on my couch with my dog Zeppelin and talking to no one is my superpower), I really do love connecting with people! So if you ever see me out and about, or even just feel like dropping me an email, please say hi! Don't be shy, I promise I'm way more shy than you are and I’d love to meet you!

Since launching in 2016, giving back has been an integral part of Natalie McMillan’s brand. Natalie McMillan continuously creates charity initiatives through sales and donates to organizations such as Beyond Type 1, Planned Parenthood, the Natural Resources Defense Council, the International Rescue Committee, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, and other smaller charities. If there is a particular charity that is close to your heart that you'd like to share, please shoot over an email so we can learn more!
